Institutional s aims to build research collaboration between the UK and partner countries on subjects of shared interest. This current call is focused on UK-Gulf collaboration in subject areas that include agriculture, water, energy, and the food-water-energy nexus (among other topics). The eligible Gulf countries are Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Applications can be submitted for UK-Gulf collaborations, and UK-Gulf-Gulf collaborations. Grants are up to £400 thousand over a maximum period of 24 months. The closing date is 07 October 2016.
