Conservation International -- Indigenous and Traditional Peoples Conservation Fellowship 2016-2017

Conservation International (CI) offers the Indigenous Leaders Conservation Fellowship to leaders from indigenous and traditional peoples. The topic for 2016-2017 is “How conservation efforts can contribute to the realization and/or strengthening of indigenous peoples’ rights to their resources.” Applicants must be members of indigenous or traditional communities, preferably with links to an indigenous organization at the national/regional level. There are no limitations by age, gender, or education. The fellowship is valued at US$8 thousand, and lasts for seven months. The application deadline is 30 September 2016.
