APN is partnering with Past Global Changes (PAGES) and the National Environment Commission of Bhutan to jointly host a proposal development training workshop in Bhutan (December 2016). The focus will be Paleoclimate science and modern climate studies in South Asia. The workshop is designed to enhance the capacity of young scientists and practitioners in the South Asia region to develop project proposals for funding. Applications are welcome from young researchers in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. APN and PAGES will cover the costs of participation of selected participants.
