Olam Prize for Innovation in Food SecurityThe Olam Prize for Innovation in Food Security recognises an innovative scientific research project for its potential impact on the availability, affordability, accessibility or adequacy of food and the UN's Sustainable Development Goal #2: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture.  

The winning research project will receive US$ 50,000. The Prize is open to ground-breaking scientific research projects from academic or scientific research institutions, civil societies and the private sector; and can focus on any region, environment, crop or part of the supply chain.  Olam International is a leading agri-business operating across the value chain in 70 countries. In 2016, Fortune recognized Olam among the Top 50 companies in its "Change the World" list for its work with smallholder farmers.
