The Brevard Zoo Conservation Fund supports projects in wildlife conservation through surcharges paid by zoo visitors and members. Nine projects in international wildlife conservation are chosen each year for funding of from US$2 thousand to US$7 thousand per project. Applications are open to non-profit conservation and research organizations. The application deadline is 01 August 2017. Note: Additionally, the Brevard Zoo Wildlife Emergency Fund provides emergency funding up to US$2,500 to address severe and time-sensitive threats to wildlife, accepting applications at any time.
