NFWF’s Seabird Initiative works to enhance the viability of seabird populations by increasing their survival and reproduction. For 2017, this program will focus on the following priority regions in the Pacific: Alaska, Chile, California current (including Mexico), Hawaii, and U.S. overseas lands and territories in the Pacific. Applicants are requested to develop business plans to emphasize specific species, conservation strategies, and geographies. The majority of awards range from US$50 thousand to US$500 thousand. A minimum of a 1:1 match of cash and/or in-kind services is required. Projects may extend from one to three years. The application date for pre-proposals is 01 June 2017. Link
