The Blue Action Fund announces grants to advance marine/coastal conservation in marine protected areas and their buffer zones in coastal waters of Africa, Latin America, and Asia/Pacific. In this first call for proposals, grants will focus on conservation projects in the Small Island Developing States (SIDS). Eligible applicants are international or regional NGOs with proven experience in coastal and marine conservation, including consortia of international and/or regional NGOs in partnerships with national NGOs or other local implementing partners. Blue Action’s contribution to the project can be budgeted at € 1-3 million. The deadline for concept notes is 03 August 2017. Link
