The RGS-IBG offers a number of grants for graduate and post-graduate geography research in an international context. Grants range from £250 to £30 thousand. Many awards are restricted to nationals of the UK and EU, and/or students at UK universities.
The application deadline for the Small Research Grants, Henrietta Hutton Research Grants, Monica Cole Research Grants, and Frederick Soddy Postgraduate Award is 18 January. The Geographical Fieldwork Grants have a deadline on 31 January. The Slawson Awards, and Environment and Sustainability Research Grants have an application deadline on 22 February.
