The King Baudouin African Development Prize aims to reward individuals or organisations who are making an outstanding contribution to development in Africa. (Note: This may include one or more categories of the Terra Viva Grants Directory). The winners receive 200 thousand and the opportunity to promote their cause to international audiences. The Prize will be awarded to Africans or organisations which are founded and led by Africans. Candidates have to be nominated. Self-nominations and applications by individuals will not be considered.
