The Mastercard Foundation funds economically disadvantaged students from Sub-Saharan Africa for study at University of Cape Town (UCT). The fields of study at UCT include different areas of sciences; and many others. The scholarship includes comprehensive financial assistance with visa applications, travel, tuition, living expenses, medical aid and accommodation.
