World Press Photo Foundation seeks applications for the West Africa Visual Journalism Fellowship (WAVJF), a one-year fellowship for emerging visual journalists and storytellers. One fellow from each of Burkina Faso, Ghana, and Ivory Coast will receive training in investigative journalism through workshops and individual mentoring. The candidates will receive a production grant of 5 thousand, plus an additional grant of 5 thousand to help cover their living expenses, to investigate a story of their choosing relevant to their communities in West Africa.
