Opportunities

In partnership with other sponsoring organizations, the International RiverFoundation announces the first Emerging River Professional Award. The Award will be given at the 17th International River Symposium (Canberra, Australia) to recognize early-career professionals who demonstrate exceptional and measurable achievements in rivers, basins, or river-dependent communities. The award is open to all river professionals who have been working in their field for ten years or less. The winner will receive AUD5,000; each runner-up will receive AUD500. The deadline for entries is 31 July 2014.
