| About Me: |
I am a young professional, soon to graduate from the Graduate School of Social Sciences (University of Amsterdam) with a specialization (MSc) in Comparative Organization and Labour. After finishing my bachelor in International Economics I undertook the position of junior business consultant in a small IT consultancy in Greece, where I helped micro and small entreprises gain funding through national and EU co-financed development programmes. I recently finished an internship at the European trade union of professionals and managers (EUROCADRES), a very interesting experience that brought me close to EU policy making and trade union work on EU employment issues with particular focus on how concerted action and social dialogue can boost EU labour markets in the current economic crisis. I seek to expand my knowledge and competences in management and implementation of projects for human and social capital development within a non or for profit organization. I am particularly interested in the way new media can help create clusters of innovation and cooperation at a local level between companies and civil society.
