The thrust of my research has been in the general area of Farm Structures and Environmental Control Engineering. The main focus is on utilization of agricultural wastes generated from agricultural activities. These include the effect of environmental factors on crop and livestock, environmental protection, environmental control of biological systems, control of airborne contaminate emissions, conversion and utilization of biomass to energy production for domestic and industrial use, waste management and reuse, and rural development. I am competent to apply integrated aspects of engineering disciplines, informed by multiple perspectives, to the design of practical and sustainable solutions to challenging problems in the production to end use of plants, food, feed and fuel.
