On her part, Nancy is already making her dreams come true. She has founded the Rural Development and Self Employment Initiative - an NGO aiming to empower women and youth through entrepreneurship training. She is also a trainer at Biz Vantage East Africa, which is a business and management consulting firm that organizes training programs aimed at contributing to youth socioeconomic empowerment by exploring agricultural entrepreneurship, value addition to agricultural produce to generate more income and employment.
She is a passionate pig and poultry farmer and she is the chairperson of a women farmers’ self help group where they share ideas and pool financial resources. These, Nancy say are contributing to the realization of her dream of helping the community and changing lives.
