In modern society, the value and significance of the media have been changing under way. The rapid development of new medias application in free public interaction, information sharing, views expression, and a wide range of public services have been well highlighted. We participants discussed about new media technologies, activities, and its new means of communication which is tended to serve the public. Through this salon, we learned how to design a creative and enthusiastic public service advertisement, how to show the unique characteristics of public projects to attract the general public, and how to deal with public opinions in the new media environment. We also would like to know more information about practical experiences and cases of public dissemination. Therefore, Im looking forward to taking part in the next semester.
I participated in this Salon and propagandized YPARD China as a representative of YPARD China network administrator. Now, our team-group operate YPARD China microblog, Renren station and QQ group to share informations about job and internship opportunity, funds, research cooperation, etc. I think that the application of new media would greatly contribute to YPARD Chinas development. But, at present, we haven't been able to make full use of new media. By training, I realize that we need to draw from the experience of others and make full use of new media to achieve our own development, such as Official Web, Email Subscribe, and WeChat, etc. We should organize more activities to expand its visibility, for example, cathedra, propaganda poster, online activities, etc. So I post this blog on the YPARD Website for sharing.
