Agropolis Fondation launches its 2009 Calls for Proposals focusing on the Southern Mediterranean Region and on Computational Plants and Ecosystems.

Agropolis Fondation 2009 Calls for Proposals

CfP 2009-01: "Promoting and supporting partnerships in the Southern Mediterranean Region"
CfP 2009-01 is for requests for short-term visiting fellowships (for Senior and Junior scientists) and small grants. Proposals should tackle southern Mediterranean issues and should involve stakeholders from the region.

Launched in partnership with INRIA, CfP 2009-02 targets development and innovation-oriented research activities that focus on main scientific challenges related to a more improved interface between agricultural sciences and mathematics, and information and communication science & technologies (ICTs). This CfP will privilege proposals that:
clearly demonstrate the integration of the various disciplines mentioned above
tackle both plants and ecosystems as well as their interactions
present how research outputs (e.g., models, tools, software, etc.) can be put into use
involve partnership (including co-funding) with private sector

Deadline for the submission of Concept Notes: 06 May (by 12:00)
For further details, see "Supporting Science/Calls for Proposals" section - http://www.agropolis-fondation.fr/uk/supporting-science/call-for-proposals.html
