Borlaug LEAP Grants for Graduate Research in Agriculture

The Norman E. Borlaug Leadership Enhancement in Agriculture Program (Borlaug LEAP) offers university fellowships funded by the U.S. government, and managed at the University of California, Davis.

The LEAP program currently calls for applications from students in Sub-Saharan Africa who are conducting research on topics related to USAID's global hunger and food security initiative ("Feed the Future"). Proposals are coordinated between the applicant's home university, a university in the USA, and a center of the CGIAR. Applications need to be submitted by 12 June 2012.
