With support by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), the African Growth and Development Policy (AGRODEP) Modeling Consortium announces its first annual call for competitive grant proposals.
AGRODEP aims to support research on emerging issues in Africa that have previously received little or no attention. The topic of this year’s grants is "Foreign Direct Investment in Land, Land Markets and Land Institutions, and Development of the Agricultural Sector in Africa." Proposals may address any or all aspects of this topic.
Researchers and research organizations in and outside of Africa are invited to apply, including AGRODEP members. Proposals should range from US$10 thousand to US$15 thousand. The closing date for applications is 16 July 2012.
