Its fifth call for proposals focuses on 15 questions, including questions in agriculture (among other thematic areas).
Budgets will vary in relation to the the scope of the review and the methods of synthesis employed; the average budget of studies financed under the previous call for proposals was about US$72 thousand.
3ie encourages proposals from researchers in low- or middle-income countries, and proposals that include such researchers in the study team. 3ie encourages applicants to bring in partners from other organizations to complete their teams.
The application deadline is 31 August 2012.
