The EC announces Phase II of the Improved Forest Management for Sustainable Livelihoods Program in Malawi. The program aims to improve the livelihoods of forest dependent communities through the participatory management of forests, both in forest reserves and on customary land. Grants will range from € 1.2 million to € 1.3 million in two lots, varying with cost shares. Eligibility extends to qualified organizations in the EU and its candidate countries; the European Economic Area; the ACP states (including Malawi); and least-developed countries.
