U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) - Improved Food Security in Ethiopia

USAID/Ethiopia invites the private sector and research institutions, both internationally as well as locally in Ethiopia, to work together towards finding solutions to address chronic food insecurity in the country.  This can take the form of low-cost water harvesting, support for biofuels production, improved agricultural extension methods, reduced post-harvest losses, and other approaches.

USAID will accept and review concept papers on a rolling basis over a one-year period, and will make funding decisions on a biannual basis. Grants are expected to range from US$150 thousand to US$500 thousand.
