The ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) announces a program of research grants. ECREEE invites research teams in West Africa to submit proposals for policy research in any of the energy fields: energy technologies, energy finance, energy economics, energy policy, energy and the environment/climate change, energy and development, energy law, etc. Teams will receive a grant of up to €1500 to contribute to evidence-based energy policies or strategies in the region. Research teams must comprise young West African researchers of not more than 35 years of age. The application deadline is 30 November 2015.
