The Horizon 2020 program of research and innovation includes topics that are suitable for international cooperation. This includes cooperation in projects of climate action, environment, resource efficiency, and raw materials (SC5). Project SC5-12 will address research on food systems and water resources in the Euro-Mediterranean region. The aim is to coordinate efforts among funding bodies, universities, ministries, and other stakeholders from around the Mediterranean area in relation to research on agriculture and water management. The deadline for proposals is 26 January 2016.
