The D-Prize funds pilot projects that more widely distribute relatively low-cost products and services in the fight against poverty. The current challenges include two related to energy: (i) selling solar lamps, and (ii) selling modern cook stoves. The D-Prize will grant up to US$20 thousand to social enterprises that are successful in their pilot phases. Concept notes should be submitted by 10 December 2015 (early deadline); 30 December 2015 (regular deadline); or 16 January 2016 (limited extension).
