CEPF will make grants to fund biodiversity conservation in key areas of the Comoros and Madagascar. Grants will range from US$20 thousand to US$200 thousand, emphasizing the empowerment of local communities to protect and manage biodiversity. CEPF encourages joint proposals from organizations in different sectors and backgrounds, e.g., fisherfolk and farmers’ associations, tourism sector associations, the private sector, development organizations, environmental associations, and biodiversity experts.
