The International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) is partnering with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in offering an annual award for excellence in reporting on global food security. The award is open to journalists from IFAJ member guilds in good standing. Submissions are invited in print, broadcast, or electronic media. The contest winner will receive paid trips to the annual IFAJ congress and to an FAO project related to the UN's International Years. The deadline for submitting entries is 01 March 2016.
