U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service -- Wetlands and Migratory Birds in Mexico

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service manages the Mexican Standard Grants Program in coordination with Mexico's counterpart agency to fund projects in Mexico that further the goals of the North American Wetlands Conservation Act. The program aims to achieve long-term protection, restoration, enhancement and/or establishment of wetlands and associated habitats for the benefit of migratory birds associated with wetlands. Project activities can include technical training, education, sustainable-use studies, and strengthening of organizational infrastructure. Eligibility for funding is unrestricted. Applicants must supply a 1:1 match of project resources. Project proposals need to be submitted in both English and Spanish. Instructions are published in both languages. The application deadline is 01 July 2016.
