ILEIA supports and promotes family farming and agroecology as key pillars of local and global food security. As Secretariat of the AgriCultures Network, ILEIA coordinates the systematisation and wide dissemination of practical experiences at local, regional and global level. ILEIA also facilitates innovations in agricultural education and engages in advocacy for family farming and agroecology. ILEIA publishes the magazine Farming Matters with a global audience, and other AgriCultures Network members publish their own regional and local magazines. Together, we reach a million farmers, extensionists, development workers, scientists and policy makers in more than 150 countries.
