About Me: |
Jean Claude holds diploma in Market Oriented Small Business Development Services from the International Training Centre of ILO (Turin/Italy); and a certified Rural consultant by Rwanda Institute of Administration and Management (RIAM). Jean Claude joined DOT as intern in May 2010 from COPAR-IMENA where he served for 4 years as a project coordinator of different projects including his own businesses. He has been the first Rwandese to be honored a Certificate of Merit as a finalist of the 2008 African Women and Young Professionals in Science Competitions organized by NEPAD and its stakeholders. His interests revolves around working with people to develop their own locally adapted versions of sustainable development and restore prides in their own innovative potentials. He enjoys supporting people to learn from challenges and opportunities, enabling them to make contributions, and directing capacity towards finding innovative and alternative solutions.Passionate and activist in promotion of adapted agriculture, lifelong learning and innovation in African Youth, Jean Claude is currently the Country Learning Specialist at DOT Rwanda where he support learning to interns and curriculum developement related tasks,.
