Combining the best of virtual learning with face-to-face leadership challenges and team projects, the new Programme gives learners greater choice and control of their learning experience.
“We want to inspire a whole new generation of leaders to find creative solutions to sustainability challenges,” said Edward Kellow, Head of Learning and Leadership at LEAD International. “The new LEAD Europe Fellowship Programme is designed with maximum flexibility to develop the skills and knowledge of Europe’s emerging leaders.”
Working in a team to solve real leadership and sustainability problems is what makes the LEAD Programme unique, memorable and inspiring. In 2012/13 you can join a team exploring leadership challenges around food and population in Portugal or shale gas in Bulgaria, sustainable urban community issues in London or regional strategies in Romania.
The LEAD Fellows Programme is one of the most dynamic, engaging and innovative leadership and sustainability programmes in Europe. People from all sectors are attracted to LEAD, and it is cross-sector collaboration which makes the Fellows Programme so powerful both during the international sessions and afterwards when graduates join the Fellows network.
With over 2,400 LEAD Fellows worldwide there is a wealth of expertise available. Amongst many notable Fellows are Martha Delgado, Secretary for the Environment, Mexico City, Goldman Environmental Prize winners Yuyun Ismawati and Olga Speranskaya, and Ashden Award winner Tri Mumpuni.
LEAD is the world’s largest international non-profit organisation focused on inspiring leadership and change for a sustainable world. The LEAD Europe Programme 2012/13 is now inviting applications.
