Sierra Leone Agricultural Reseacrh Institute (SLARI) is a formalized and wide acclaimed institution set up by the Parliament of Sierra leone to oversee and undertake all research work for sustainable agriculture. It has up to eight centres in the country of which I am attached to the Kenema Forestry and Tree Crop Reseacrh Centre (KFTCRC). KFTCRC has three sub-stations: Bambawo, Pendebu, and Kpuwabu. Bambawo station is my station for forestry reseacrh.
