About Me:
Clet is an enthusiastic professional passionate about community Development who has a background in Agriculture and Rural Development and a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology from the former Higher Institute of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry (ISAE-BUSOGO) in Rwanda. Clet is experienced in Capacity enhancement through, Facilitation, Coaching, Project management, Action research, commitment to excellence, Advocacy and Leadership. After his University studies, Clet joined DOT-RWANDA as an intern in August 2012 where he empowered more than 250 youth and women with entrepreneurship, ICT and life skills. Through his internship, Clet has done other professional ICT based trainings like Web2.0 and social media for development offered CTA which have strengthened his passion of publishing, reading and sharing information focusing on ARD, ICT4Ag and youth empowerment.In May and July 2013, Clet has consecutively participatedin two learning opportunities which in turn have enhanced his lifelong learning spirit; the first DOT’s Youth and Learning UnConference which held at Nairobi in Kenya and the first African Internet Governance School which held at Durban in South Africa. Before the end of 2013, Clet has been recruited by ATGHO International to serve as an intern volunteer photographer to support about the Entrepreneurship web 3.0s during the Transform Africa summit held at Kigali. In November 2013, Clet was among 15 on-site social media reporters who have supported the CTA and the MINAGRI to raise awareness on the sessions of the ICT4Ag international conference before, during and after the event that held at Kigali. Clet is currently serving as Social officer at Good Neighbors international/Rwanda, the organization which is acting as the implementer of a WFP project called Saemaul Zero Hunger Communities (SZHC); An integrated rural development project funded by the Government of Korea to address the challenges of food insecurity and poverty in Nyamagabe district of Rwanda with lessons from Korea’s rural development (Saemaul Undong).Clet is also a Youthpreneur and Enviropreneur Volunteer in YEPRwanda2014, A project initiated by RYACA (Rwanda Youth Alliance for Climate Actions). Clet's aim is to always expand and utilize his knowledge, skills and potential in an organization that encourages team effort in challenging assignments and offer opportunity for career growth. Clet aspires to become a lifetime learner and be able to share his knowledge and experience for the betterment of his community.
