The Alltech Young Scientist (AYS) program features the world’s largest agriscience competition. It offers the brightest scientific thinkers from colleges and universities across the globe an opportunity to compete at the highest level and be rewarded for their innovative research.
Students are encouraged to join Alltech in pursuit of solutions in animal health and nutrition, crop science, agriculture analytical methods, food chain safety and traceability, human health and nutrition and other agriscience-related sectors, while also gaining valuable experience with the company’s global team.

After an induction at Alltech’s Headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky, USA, each member will be assigned to a project in one of Alltech’s offices and receive individual mentorship from senior employees. The program aims to empower graduates with the necessary skills and a deep understanding of the challenges in the agribusiness industry to pursue a successful career in Alltech.
Profile of the candidates:
Recent graduates or students about who will be graduates by February 2016 with a bachelor's or master's degree with limited industry experience
· Fluency in English (second language an advantage)
· Bright, quick learners, creative thinkers
· Pioneering spirit with a drive for innovation and success

To participate, students must be nominated by one of their professors and submit the signed registration form online beforeOctober 31st. Students can participate in the undergraduate or in the graduate category. They will have until December 31stto submit their paper online before moving on to the Regional phase of the competition.
