I have varied interest and each of them has been influenced from my personal life experiences. For example my interest in Agriculture stems from my childhood experience of growing up in a farming environment. I am an experienced research scientist with demonstrated experience in molecular breeding techniques and genomic strategies. As a molecular biologist i have helped breeders through marker assisted selection in meeting their breeding objectives by identifying economically important traits in choosing the right kind of parent materials. As a plant breeder i have focused on developing climate smart crops that are resilient to extreme events such as salinity, drought, waterlogging etc that are sustainably efficient in achieving food security. In addition i am also skilled in project management and implementation. Have a demonstrated record in extension work to increase farmers productivity and incentives that increases sales of agricultural products which is beneficial in increasing industry and farmers profit margins. Furthermore, i strive for growth and improvement in my professional and personal life by seeking challenges and opportunities that require solutions that gets me out of my comfort zone. In my spare time i like to try exotic cooking recipes and love nature especially hiking and long walks in forest areas
