Young People are making their Show for tackling serious issues! - Landscapes approach

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF)'s two-day event will be kick-started with a TedX-style Youth session. Nine young people will take the floor to deliver inspirational speeches about youth’s role in the natural resources sector.

“Thought leaders” in youth issues will share with us how they have changed the way youth are perceived in natural resource management sectors and “Youth champions” will tell us about their success stories in landscape based initiatives where involvement of youth was critical.

Some discussions with the on-site and online audience will be led around these with the purpose of bringing out action-oriented solutions for youth empowerment in the landscapes sector.

The discussions will mainly deal with financing and sustainable entrepreneurship, overcoming the negative perception of employment in landscapes sector, capacity building and the power of youth movements.

You can find the final agenda and set of speakers on the youth session’s landing page on the GLF official website
