Here comes Augusts' update from the GFU.

I would like to point your attention to a call for contributions we would like to extend to our readers.

Preparation of Geneflow, Bioversity's annual is on course. However given that this year the issue of the Food Crises has been very much a topical issue, we are looking at the possibility of giving the next issue of Gene Flow a strong 'food crises' emphasis. For this to be possible, we need some articles on this subject from across the globe. Initially all what we need is the story brief and some information on what the paper would contain.

Terramadre, that will take place in October is hosting on its web site a series of online fora. I am sure you will find some interesting topics that will allow us to voice our "underutilized species" matters into the discussions that will take place during the event.
