NORTH EAST ENGLAND-TAMIL NADU
[NEEDIL] Steering Group, have been awarded
funding by the Department of Science and
Technology of India and the Royal Society of UK
to conduct first Indo-UK Joint Workshop in Tamil
Nadu.
The Objectives of the Workshop are to plan for an
Integrated project proposal on "Development
of Green Technologies and Industries for the
Sequestration of Carbon (Dioxide)
and Applications of Generated Biomass
[ Microalgae ] to Useful Products”
The Workshop will be attended by 20 scientists /
technologists – 5 from North East England and 15 from Tami Nadu, India
