- Managing our Common Resources (23/03/2015 – 30/04/15)
- Campaigning for the commons (starting in 2015 – dates tbc)
- Biodiversity and conservation of shared resources
- Forests and Community Land Rights
- Water Governance
- Advanced Commons Theory and Methods
Registered students will be given an Associate Student number and be able to access the course materials via the internet.There are no special IT requirements in order to be able to access the materials.
Uniqueness
- This is the first online programme aimed specifically at raising awareness of commons issues around the globe.
- It has being jointly developed and delivered between the University of Gloucestershire in the UK and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) to enable the course to be delivered in Spanish as well as English.
- It will benefit practitioners and policy makers working in a wide variety of locations, enabling them to access the course at times most suitable to their individual situation.
- Participants will be provided with access to a wide range of materials on commons, and will be able to discuss complex issues with tutors and other participants through on-line discussion
- No need to worry about time differences between the UK and your location, on-line discussions are managed over a period of days to allow people around the globe to engage with questions and respond to comments
- On-line delivery reduces the costs of participation
