How ICTs play a role in supporting young female professionals in agriculture?

Did you know that Today, 26th April 2012, is the International Day of Girls in ICT?

I have been lucky enough to discuss with e-agriculture team, on how Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) present valuable opportunities for young women to strengthen their capacities and have a voice.

I would like to highlight that:

benefits presented on the video won't be effective until the environment enables young women to exploit ICTs at their optimum!

Also, YPARD recognizes the importance of encouraging more young women to enter into Agricultural Research for Development (ARD) by reaching them out through ICTs!
