Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Development -- Canadian International Food Security Research Fund 2015

Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC) in partnership with Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada (DFATD) announce the 2015 edition of the Canadian International Food Security Research Fund.  Grants will support projects that aim to develop, test, and apply ways to scale up innovations in food security and nutrition -- particularly addressing the needs of women small-scale farmers.   Eligible organizations are research, development, and private-sector organizations in Canada and in eligible countries of the global South.  Partnerships must include two or more organizations, at least one of which must be Canadian, and at least one of which must be a business-oriented organization. The maximum grant is CAD$1.5 million for projects of up to 28 months.  The deadline for applications is 27 March 2015.
